KIBŌ Brimming with Hope:

Recipes & Stories from Japan’s Tohoku

is an e-original book, my culinary tribute to Japan's northeast, the Tohoku. Celebrate with me the rich food culture of the region.

The Tohoku was devastated by earthquake, tsunami and nuclear accident on March 11, 2011. My publisher, Ten Speed Press, a Crown imprint of Random House, joins me in pledging a portion of book proceeds to Japan's recovery efforts.
